    Job Description

    Our Client is a multinational company in the industrial manufacturing industry, the Category Leader will lead the Acrylics business unit with a direct reporting line to the CEO.

    Roles & Responsibilities:
    - Diagnose operational issues, develop solutions and implement through cross-functional teams.
    - Investigate, create and develop new methods and technologies for the acrylics category advancement.
    - Engage in operational mapping and mass balance development of product development projects.
    - Define and ensure the optimum balance of resources are available to meet operational strategy.
    - Provide the most cost effective and efficient manufacturing platforms in line with the company’s Quality standards.
    - Propose and manage the implementation of manufacturing quality improvements plans.
    - Propose and manage the implementation of manufacturing cost efficiency improvements plans.
    - Seek opportunities for cost reduction, margin control, and operational efficiency.
    - Collaborate with senior management in the development, planning, and execution of annual business plans, short and long-term strategic plans, developing budgets and performance goals and objectives for each department.
    - Oversees research and development programs and resources to ensure acrylic products are conceived, developed and available for market in line with agreed Marketing and Commercial timetables.
    - Ensures a Quality culture is driven through the acrylic operations supported by appropriate quality tools, analysis measurement, and corrective actions.
    - Provides coaching guidance in terms of operational plans and continual improvement, process improvements, operational objectives, and performance measurements.
    - Sets and drives within the whole Acrylic operations a lean Manufacturing Culture.
    - Works with the commercial organization to give input from Operations related to product portfolio and product development.

    Requirements

    Professional Career / Experience:
    - 10+ years of experience in Acrylics based industries.
    - Accomplished and sophisticated operations experience in a multi-plant manufacturing environment.
    - Regional/ Global exposure of large teams management both face to face on-site and remote based.
    - Proven in driving and implementing successful change programmes in challenging or complex environments.
    - Strong in people management and organization with challenging workforces.
    - Process/ line / budget management.
    - Business / Commercial acumen.
    - Extensive experience of advanced productivity techniques and tools along with the ability to advocate and develop these skills across the operations team.
    - The ability to manage through systems and metrics.
    - Capable of building information networks – stimulating information flow and best practices across the enterprise
    - Demonstrated track record of driving for action and results; both process and result mindset oriented.
    - Analytical and innovative thinker with proven project management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task projects and assignments to attain, highest potential result

    Reports directly to the Regional HR Head.

    Responsibilities:
    •Implement the human resources strategy for the dedicated country/site
    •Ensure the usage of the potential synergies across sites and divisions
    •Develop needed activities and programs for the country
    •Ensure the implementation of the HR strategy at country level, define programs and measures
